Stonewall Policy Alliance

Mission

The Stonewall Policy Alliance (SPA) increases the Wagner community’s knowledge and understanding of issues affecting the Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender and Queer-identified (LGBTQ+) community. SPA does this by facilitating productive dialogue, promoting alliances, and fostering partnerships between other LGBTQ+ organizations both within NYU and throughout the greater NYC area. Through these activities, SPA fosters an environment that allows the Wagner community and other outside stakeholders to think critically about issues of identity and diversity and to work towards a more inclusive approach to public service. Ultimately, SPA is building a core community for the next generation of queer policy makers and deciders. The Stonewall Policy Alliance is open to all students, allies, and those interested in learning more about these topics.
